SPAC FLAGSHIP COMMUNITY CENTRE MBOMO

  • Preschool
    • Programs must be adapted to the developmental stages of the children
    • Health conditions must be monitored
  • Training centre (learning and teaching)/quality assurance
  • Community work – walk-in clients
  • Kids Radio Mbomo
  • Life skills training (nutrition/health)
  • School garden/community garden
  • Inclusion (disabled people, pygmies)
  • Communication and de-escalation workshops
  • Close contact to local Ministry of Education
  • Job training + Job creation

SPAC MOBILE CLASSROOM

  • Preschool
    • Programs must be adapted to the developmental stage of the children
    • Health conditions must be monitored
    • Support material and learning equipment
  • To familiarize uneducated kids with interactive teaching activities by educators (daily routine)
  • Flexible arrangement with Pygmy villages who live among nature and their requirements
  • Families stay in the communities because of learning prospects for their kids

SPAC CONSERVATION

  • Connecting urban youth to nature
  • Conservation Workshops
  • Three Modules:
    • Talking and Thinking
    • Moving and Doing
    • Learning and Thinking

SPAC SATELLITES

  • Families stay in the communities because of learning prospects for their kids

This means inspiring people to value nature for its own sake and facilitating balanced healthy interactions between people and nature to the benefit of both.
